Wet Season Boabs on the King River Road

2nd February 2019

The landscape alongside the King River Road out near Wyndham is thick with boab trees. If you’re driving out here for a photography outing, you will not be disappointed.

During the wet season, the country is completely transformed into a green and lush haven where water feeds all life surrounding it.

As we sat here and watched the colour of the sky slowly turn to cotton-candy-pinks and purples, we were absolutely destroyed by giant mosquitoes. Even after the mozzie invasion, it’s still one of the most stunning sunsets I have seen.
