I spent 2 weeks on a solo camping trip in the beautiful Kimberley dry season. Drysdale, Munurru, King Edward River, Mitchell Plateau, Honeymoon Bay… and everywhere in between. Endless red dust, warm days and very cold nights, waterfalls, lots of hikes, reading, best night’s sleep, no phone signal, going to bed and waking up with the sun, an abundance of fresh flowing water, hidden campsites, dingoes, crocs, wildflowers, swimming, napping, watching birds, and lots more that would end up making this description 10 pages long. I can’t really ever pick a favourite trip but if I had to - this one would be up there!
It was a slow moving trip, soaking up the wild and extraordinary North Kimberley.
