LBP1083 - Prince Regent River - Panorama
Prince Regent National Park is a remote and beautiful region on the North Kimberley Coast. The Prince Regent River runs for 106km and has the distinction of being one of WA’s straightest rivers, flowing through a fault line known as the Prince Regent lineament.
I was lucky enough to visit this amazing place on a 14 day cruise with Kimberley Quest, the river is only accessible by boat or air.
This image was taken at sunrise on a steamy April morning, there was a calming silence in the air as the boat cruised along the glassy river.
We watched birds and wildlife along the way, all whilst wondering about the many saltwater crocs that would have been watching us pass by.
