LBP1072 - Ord River
The Upper Ord River (or Lake Kununurra) is a central part of life to those living in Kununurra, whether it be kayaking, boating, fishing, swimming, watching sunset - for those lucky enough to live on a riverside property, or simply sitting on the banks of the river and enjoying what it brings.
This photo was taken just after a sunrise hike to the top of Elephant Rock. The sun is up early here, which meant alarms were set for 3:30am to make sure we could hike up in the dark to catch sunrise.
The clouds were sparse, but just enough to show their presence amongst the soft colours of the morning sky.
