Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge
Staying at the Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge is such luxury in a very remote location. They have an onsite restaurant and bar with delectable food prepared by the chef. All rooms have an ensuite with soothing hot showers, one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in, and the only swimming pool in Purnululu National Park.
I was lucky enough to spend a weekend not only relaxing at the lodge, but exploring the Bungle Bungle Range.
On this particular morning, alarms were set for 3:30am, no time for brekky or coffee – straight into a hike in the darkness. However, when you get to watch the indescribable magic of the sun rising over UNESCO World Heritage listed Purnululu National Park... I guess that makes up for it.
