Beautiful Kununurra Wedding

Alana and Mat's wedding was a huge celebration on a beautiful Kununurra afternoon and evening.

The girls prepared for the big day relaxed at home and the guys in a room at Freshwater Apartments. The anticipation was building as guests had arrived from all over Australia, as well as a large number from Kununurra.

The ceremony was held under a gorgeous big boab tree on the banks of the Ord River, it was a beautiful set up with a dark wooden arbour and a subtle but stunning floral arrangement placed on the corner. Following this the bridal party enjoyed some time together down at Celebrity Tree Park overlooking the picturesque Lily Creek Lagoon.

Before we knew it, it was time to head over to Kimberleyland to board our private chopper! The clouds were looking dreamy and the weather was spot on. We departed above the stunning scenery and following the Ord River up to where the striking gorges and cliffs run.

This was one of the most incredible places I have witnessed... and even better to land here for wedding photos.

As I snapped away, Alana and Mat slowly started to realise that it had really happened, they had just officially tied the knot. My favourite part of the day was what followed, I gave the newlyweds some time just the two of them to have a drink and look out over the amazing vista that was in front of them. A quite moment together, to soak up this special moment in time.

Following this we flew back to Kununurra Golf Club where the reception had been perfectly decked out with a stunning lighting set up. The entire wedding party was waiting out on the green for the couple to arrive. After this there were heartfelt speeches and many congratulations, before one hell of a party kicked off.

I'm thrilled that I could be a part of Alana and Mat's day.
